Kansas City, Missouri
|
Harold Bell Wright served as pastor of the Forest Avenue Christian Church
in Kansas City, Missouri from September, 1903 to March 19, 1905, when he
submitted his resignation to the church. Very little is known about
his life or ministry in Kansas City.
This
may
not
be
the
same
church
structure
Wright
preached
in,
but
the reverse of the postcard
above is postmarked Oct 6,
1913,
and
the
stains
on
the
roof
and
bricks
suggest
the
building
is
not
new,
so
it
may
be. This is a printed card, not a Real
Photo card.

Someone wrote on this Real Photo postcard, "Christian Church K.C."
and I have no reason to doubt that this is an early Christian Church
in Kansas City, though it may not be the Forest Avenue church.
